羅旭東博士，英國專家，現仼廣西師范大學特聘教授、博士生導師，郵箱：luoxd@mailbox.gxnu.edu.cn；2011年11月至2016年11月任中山大學百人計劃教授和博士生導師；2015年和2016年長江學者候選人。羅旭東教授的研究重點是模糊邏輯、博弈論及自動談判。在模糊邏輯的方向上，建立了模糊缺省推理系統、加權模糊邏輯、一個模糊時間點動作推理模型、一個動態信念修正模糊邏輯系統以及兩個基于模糊邏輯和命題邏輯討價還價模型。在博弈論的研究中，研究人們的風險態度、人際關系、隱私及后悔心理等一些人的因素以及外在約束是如何影響人們互動的，并建立模型來預測和指導人們的行為，特別地建立了一些邏輯模型妥善解決一些博弈悖論。此外，還研究人們如何在公平、忠誠、自私和利他等信念下進行動。這些研究的目的是將數理博弈論和行為博弈論統一在一個框架下，從而更好地將博弈應用于現實生活的各個領域。在自動協商系統這一領域的主要貢獻包括如何進行建模以及獲得用戶偏好知識，如何報價/還價，如何評估報價, 以及如何將它們集成到一個系統中。還給出兩個具體的場景來解釋如何自動協商系統的工作，提出了一個在各種應用背景下開發自動協商系統的方法學。

羅旭東教授具有杰出的研究能力，發表專著一部和論文 160 余篇，其中：SSCI論文約20篇；中國計算機學會推薦的A類期刊上5篇(包括2 篇在頂級學術刊物《人工智能》上）和A類會議文章4篇; SCI Q1區期刊上26篇。他在《人工智能》發表的論文A fuzzy constraint based model for bilateral, multi-issue negotiations in semi-competitive environments, 根據谷歌學術網數據，被麻省理工、牛津大學和卡內基梅隆大學等世界頂尖研究機構引用了360多次（谷歌學術網2018年3月數據）; SCI數據引用次數是180余次。引用這篇文章的論文也是高引用率的（例如，引用了542，498和441次，谷歌學術網2017年4月數據），并發表在頂尖期刊上（如AIJ、IEEE TKDE、IEEE TFS、ACM TIT、IEEE TITS等）, 還跨越計算機科學、管理科學、邏輯學和數學等學科。羅教授在英國南開普敦大學與Nick Jennings院士一起工作取得的部分研究成果也是Jennings院士2003年ACM研究獎的重要組成部分。根據谷歌學術網2018年5月數據，羅旭東所有論文共被引1220多次(自2013年以來，共被引用710多次) 。近五年羅旭東教授領導的團隊發表五十多篇論文（詳細清單見http://dblp.uni-trier.de/pers/hd/l/Luo:Xudong），其中包括SSCI Q1區論文17篇，被EI收錄30多篇（如發表在中國計算機協會A類會議IJCAI 2013，AAAI 2017和AAAI 2018上）；所發表的期刊論文大多同時被SCI和SSCI索引，為文理交叉學科的研究成果。在科研基金方面，自2011年來羅旭東教授爭取到了二百二十萬左右的經費，其中包括國家自然科學基金項目、教育部基地重大項目和廣東省自然科學基金項目。并參與了兩個國家社科基金重大項目的申請，仼子項目負責人（國家和省社科基金項目不允許外國專家作主持人）。

在教學工作方面，近五年羅旭東教授所培養的碩士生和博士生一共拿了八個國家獎學金，一位博士生的論文獲一國際會議最佳論文獎；并與牛津大學和英國倫敦帝國理工聯合培養博士生，其中與博士生黃繁的工作被諾貝爾獎得主約翰•納什稱之為“令人驚訝并引人注目”的工作。本科生畢業論文三人獲學校本科優秀畢論文獎，一本科畢業論文的改進版獲一國際會議的杰出論文獎。給本科生和研究生開設的相關課程，主要包括：模糊邏輯和不確定推理、博弈論和博弈的哲學、人工智能邏輯等。本科教學方面也出廣東省精品教材《博弈的哲學》。2015年，在全校范圍內開這課，中山大學珠海和南校兩校區總選課人數近600人。結課論文里，同學們高度稱贊了羅旭東教授的教學，說他點燃了他們思想的火焰。

羅旭東教授具有良好的國際聲譽。參與舉辦了100多個學術會議（近五年60多個），任程序委員會成員、高級成員、共同主席并作特邀報告等。特別是在2013年，羅旭東成為頂級的第23 屆國際人工智能聯合會高級程序委員會成員，表明他是一個世界公認的人工智能領域的專家。他也應邀在國內、國外大學講學，其中包括在英國帝國理工。此外，羅旭東教授還任：（1）一個國際學術期刊副主編，兩個國際期刊特刊編輯；（2）10余頂級和著名的國際性學術期刊(如Artificial Intelligence)的審稿人；（3）歐盟科學基金評審專家；（4）澳大利亞博士論文評審專家；（5）阿拉伯聯合酋長國大學科學基金評審專家；（6）長江學者評審專家；（7）中國博士后基金評審專家；以及（8）中國教育部學位學位論文評審專家; (9) 中國國家自然科學基金項目評審專家；（10）教育部人文社會科學研究項目評審專家。

羅旭東教授具有很好的學術背景, 在海外學習、研究和工作 16 年, 任英國南安普敦大學、伯明翰大學和新加坡南洋理工大學等世界前一百名大學的研究員、講師和高級研究員等職，與英國、澳大利亞、新加坡和香港等地學術界建立了廣泛的合作關系。他在英國南安普敦大學和 Nick Jennings 教授一起工作了五年半。南安普敦大學在計算機科學的研究在世界上處于領先地位(英國前 2 位)。Jennings教授不到 40 歲成為院士時是英國歷史上第二個年輕的，也是基于 Agent 計算研究領域的創立者之一。羅教授在南安普敦大學也同時與 Nigel Shadbolt 教授(皇家工程學院院士、英國計算機學會前主席)一起工作了兩年半。羅教授博士后師從香港中文大學計算機系主任梁浩峰教授和李浩文教授，博士生師從澳大利亞人工智能學會理事長張成奇教授，碩士師從中科院陸汝鈐院士。
