The information about the CSRIO Data61 (https://www.data61.csiro.au/) scholarship program:
(1) Types of PhD Scholarships
Data61 provides two kinds of scholarships: full scholarship and top-up scholarship. The full scholarship is set at a rate equivalent to the Research Training Program base rate. The top-up scholarship (about AUD $10,000) can only be applied by the candidates who are in receipt of a government funded, university funded or other third-party funded scholarship.
The student can apply for (1) the full scholarship (about AUD$ 27,000/year), (2) the top-up scholarship (about AUD $10,000/year), and (3) The full + top-up scholarship (about AUD$ 37,000/year).
(2) Duration of Scholarships: Up to a maximum of 3.5 years.
Candidates are assessed by several criteria including academic merit (e.g. academic transcripts, awards) and research potential (e.g. previous research project experience, published papers and articles). If interested, please contact me:Yanfeng.Shu@csiro.au
