袁繼紅，女，湖南華容人，博士，教授，博士生導師， 廣東省高校第六批“千百十”工程培養對象，廣東省理論宣傳青年優秀人才。
主持“計算社會科學的解釋研究”“社會規范的自然化研究”國家社科項目、教育部項目及省級項目10余項；出版1部學術專著《社會科學解釋研究》，譯著《文人維特根斯坦》（主譯，）；在《自然辯證法研究》《自然辯證法通訊》等期刊上發表研究論文60余篇，其中數篇論文被人大復印資料《科學技術哲學》《邏輯》全文轉載。主編《科技史略》，參編《普通邏輯學》第三版（2015）。
